Nelles Guide Greece Tour Guide's Perfect Book, October 13, 2001 Reviewer: Dale Grote (see more about me) from Charlotte, NC United States Not only have I read this book, but I also use it for the archaeological tours I conduct in Greece. It's the finest book I've found for keeping the general adult appropriately informed and interested. It avoids being shallow but stops short of the overwhelming detail provided in other guides, such as the Blue Guide. There were some small problems here and there. For example, the distances from one site to the next were sometimes way off. But if you use the maps provided, you won't be misled. List Price: $15.95 Paperback - 256 pages 2nd edition (October 2000) Nelles Verlage; ISBN: 3886182177 ; Dimensions (in inches): 0.63 x 7.69 x 5.09 |
